I'm sure the small print disclaimer says we (they) have the right to change, but that is not ethical. If you have a family, just share drinks & food.Ĭon: 2 meal pass now must wait 3 hours before 2nd meal which is absurd, especially when that started in 2023, and did not state that when I purchased pass in November 2022. "Pro-tip"-Season pass with parking and adding meal pass, and season cup with free refills for 2023-pays for itself. Purchased 2023 $59 season pass in November 2022 sale on-line with free card upgrade which includes parking- also added 2-meal pass. Visited, 2pm arrival, Sunday, park hours: 11am-5pm, Beautiful day, a little cold wind, no rain.ġst visit in years. I'm told this park used to be very nice, but I can't think of one reason I'd return. They might want to start retraining before the season really kicks in or they'll have a lot of angry attendees. One was even spewing insults and political comments as people waited to get on the Joker. Many of the ride operators were very unprofessional as well, seeming to be bothered to be working. In addition, the animals in the park looked poorly cared for and the facilities as a whole were far from what I would consider clean. I understand if a ride or two is closed for maintenance, but when you have multiple rides closed, especially the coasters that people come for, it's just not worth it. We got on the first ride at 11:30 and because so many rides were closed, we were done by 2:00! We did have Flash Pass, but certainly wouldn't have paid $300 for three Flash Passes if we knew so few rides would be open. The park opened at 11 and this is when they started testing the rides - I'm a little unsure why they wouldn't do that BEFORE opening time, but that made for a frustrating start. We went ready to take on the coasters - but FOUR of their coasters were closed - that's pretty much half of them! There were other various rides closed as well. As a military family, we have been to a number of Six Flags and this was by far the worst we've ever visited. Choices a limited, again not a huge park. Lastly, food is expensive as it is at any of these parks. We went on a Saturday, but during what would be consider the off season yet, and waits were only long( 30-50mjn) after midday. The flash pass is ridiculously expensive and probably not worth it for most people. The park is not that big, but we walked like 20,000 steps throughout a nine hour day. Use that to let you know which rides have very long wait only. The wait would frequently say 5-10 min and ended up being 30mjn. The latter is not accurate in our experience. There is a map, online ordering, rides and wait times. The six flags app is helpful in some ways. There is a section for kids and another for family that can both serve for younger kids. My teens thought that they were better than the ones at Disneyland. There is a section of high thrill rides right up from, probably about 10, which are great for teens. Rides are separated by age group for the most part. The all season soft drink bottles are popular if you plan on going more than once and need soft drinks. Water bottles are allowed and there are water stations by all restrooms. You can take a couple small snacks in your pockets or purse. There is no outside food or drink allowed, but I think that basically means you can’t carry in McDonald’s or a cooler. I went with the platinum one which is another $20 per person but worth it if you plan on going to Hurricane Harbor during the year. It almost always will make sense to buy even the lowest level season pass at$60/person given the high cost of parking. You’re looking at $45 per person on weekend days, $35 for weekdays when open. You should just buy tickets online even if same day to save yourself money. No real need to pay the extra $10 for preferred unless you get there midday. Parking is about a 15-20 minute walk from the actual entrance. For adults, it really depends on how you tolerate rides as you get older. I went with my wife and two boys who are teens, but I believe with the animals in the park and some of the younger kid rides, it is excellent for any family. I will start with this is a great and fun trip for the family. I will put here answers to all types of questions on my list before I went.
